Forty-one year-old Basil Ricketts, a farmer of Baptist Road, Black River in St. Elizabeth, died after he was hit by a motor car on the Holland main road in the parish Sunday night. The driver of the car did not stop.
Forty-one year-old Basil Ricketts, a farmer of Baptist Road, Black River in St. Elizabeth, died after he was hit by a motor car on the Holland main road in the parish Sunday night. The driver of the car did not stop.
According to information from the Lacovia Police, about 7 p.m., Mr. Ricketts was standing along the roadway when he was hit by a black Caldina motor car which was traveling towards Santa Cruz.
He received multiple injuries and was taken to the BlackRiver Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Lacovia Police are investigating.
