No. 133 Friday, August 27, 2010
Comedian Chu-Chu declares that he is going to unleash “pure madness” at the Pier One Complex (Howard Cooke Boulevard, Montego Bay) this Sunday (August 29, 2010) when he headlines a strong cast of stand-up ‘laugh-makers’. The event is dubbed ‘Montego Bay Comedy Explosion’. Showtime is 7 p.m.

“When me done wuk Sunday, Pier One nuh good agaih!” said an elated ChuChu (christened Cleve Warren) in explaining how he plans to take Pier One apart on Sunday.
“I think stand-up comedy is more exciting than plays because in stand-up comedy there is never a dull moment,” said a member of the promotion team.
Chu-Chu will share the stage with other seasoned campaigners such the duo of Apache Chief & Sarge, Lem on Hilarious Granny, Pn’tty Boy Floyd and Past Comedy Bus winners Dwight Saniucis and Leighton Smith.
It is always inevitable for Chu-Chu to share the stage with FIi1arius Granny and don’t have a dance showdown. They did it the last year at Pier One and the crowd was left in stitches.
Pretty Boy Floyd is expected to double as the master of ceremonies and a comic. He has always been booked as only an emcee but often times threaten to steal the show from the main acts.
