In the midst of the excitement of the Jazz and Blues Festival at the Stadium at Greenfield, Flow, Jamaica's Broadband Company, also signaled its intent to roll out its triple play digital service in Montego Bay.
In the midst of the excitement of the Jazz and Blues Festival at the Stadium at Greenfield, Flow, Jamaica's Broadband Company, also signaled its intent to roll out its triple play digital service in Montego Bay.
According to Sharon Roper, Director of Marketing at Flow, "This event really marks the first stage of the roll-out service in Montego Bay. Roper revealed that "it is our intention to have customers in Montego Bay, on our world class system starting as early as June of this year. As such, we utilized the opportunity at the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival to showcase our products and service to Montego Bay."
The Flow Lounge at the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival can only be summarized as state of the art and reminiscent of the Apple brand. All of Flow's triple play services were on display with high tech precision. Throughout the festival visitors, "Watched Talked and Clicked "their way in the double-decker Flow lounge that featured Flow's digital Television, Flow's Blazing speed Internet and the Flow landline each highlighting Flow's broadband technology and the latest innovations that Flow offers to offer.
The company also officially launched its WiFi service at the Festival called Flow unplugged which received rave reviews from patrons and visitors alike. While visitors to the booth buzzed about the Flow's WiFi Service, Flow Unplugged which was provisioned with speeds as high as 15Mbs, was also well received by visiting and local journalists, and production team who commended the organizers for the tremendous speed and capacity of the internet at the facility, which made behind the scene work easy to execute.
The influx of VIPs artists and visitors to the Flow booth was a testament to the interest that Flow's products and services generated. Patrons who visit the Flow special internet cafe were able to keep in touch via blogs, photos etc. Many were also interviewed to air their views about the festival. The programme will be aired on the jazz and Blues channel on the Flow network on channel 395.
