Laughter returns to the Pier One Complex (Howard Cooke Boulevard, Montego Bay) this Sunday (August 29, 2010) with a rare presentation of a stand-up comedy. The event is dubbed “Montego Bay Comedy Explosion”.
Laughter returns to the Pier One Complex (Howard Cooke Boulevard, Montego Bay) this Sunday (August 29, 2010) with a rare presentation of a stand-up comedy. The event is dubbed “Montego Bay Comedy Explosion”.
The hottest names in stand-up comedy are well represented. They are the duo of Apache Chief & Sarge, Chu-Chu, Lemon, Hilarious Granny, Pretty Boy Floyd and Comedy Bus alums Dwight Samuels and Leighton Smith.
Chu-Chu and Hilarious Granny have their work cut out for them as they will provide the comedic dancing entertainment when they clash with each other. Pretty Boy Floyd is the master of ceremonies, but his on-stage antics have often times made him the toast of the show. Lemon, Dwight Samuels (aka Lt. Elmo) and Leighton Smith are the real hilarious stand-up comical acts.
However, the crowd favourites are Apachie Chief & Sarge as their versatility make them a unique combination of all the other acts. In addition, they are noted for their copying of famous people in Jamaica especially entertainers. Showtime is
