St. James man missing

Twenty-two-year-old Garreth Billings of Greenwood, St. James has been reported missing since Friday, August 20.

   He is of dark complexion, slim build, about 173 centimeters (5 feet 8 inches) tall with the letters ‘GB’ tattooed on both wrists and a crucifix and heart tattooed on his right upper arm.
    Reports received from the Barrett Town Police are that about 6:25 a.m., Garreth left home for work at Freeport, Montego Bay. When he did not return as expected a report was filed to the police.
    At the time he went missing, he was dressed in a blue Polo shirt, blue jeans pants and a pair of brown shoes.
    Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Garreth Billings is being asked to contact the Barrett Town Police at 953-2171, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
        MAN KILLED IN ST. ELIZABETH
    Nineteen-year-old Tavell Golding of Quarry Heights, Kintyre in Papine, St. Andrew was shot dead while another man, 30 years old, was shot and injured on the Steven Run main road in St Elizabeth Monday night.
    Reports from the Nain police are that about 8:30 p.m., the two were travelling in a motor car along the main road.
    Upon reaching a section of the roadway, occupants from a white Toyota Corolla motor car, which was travelling behind them, opened gun fire at their vehicle, injuring both Golding and the man.
    Both were taken to hospital where Golding was pronounced dead and the 30-year-old man admitted in serious condition.
    The Nain Police are continuing their investigations.
