No. 63 Monday, March 8, 2010
A man who allegedly stole a quantity of items from the Palmyra Resorts and Spa had his bail extended when he appeared in the Montego Bay RM Court on Thursday, March 4.

Christopher Morris, 28 of Lilliput, St. James is facing a charge of simple larceny.
He is booked to reappear before the court on June 2l.
The court was told that on December 9, 2009 the security guards at the hotel were conducting routine checks when they observed a door of a room open.
They went to investigate and Morris was seen inside the room with a brown bag and a white bucket. The bag and the bucket were searched and were found to contain a quantity of bathroom fixtures, 5 wall lamps, 4 drapes and 4 paintings valuing US$3,470.
A manager at the hotel was informed of the items found and upon checking all 100 rooms he found the items missing and reported the matter to the Barrett Town Police.
When cautioned, Morris reportedly said to the officer, "A try mi did a try a ting ... Mi can get mi own bail?"
