The Rotary Club of Lucea hosted its annual fundraising Wine & Cheese event titled: 'Wine with Me' on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Global Villa Guest House in Lucea.
The Rotary Club of Lucea hosted its annual fundraising Wine & Cheese event titled: 'Wine with Me' on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Global Villa Guest House in Lucea.
Scores of persons from across the parishes of Westmoreland and St. James, turned out to lend support to this worthwhile cause.
Proceeds from the event will go directly to the Rotary International Foundation to support hunger, literacy, clean water and polio prevention and other humanitarian projects.
President of the Rotary Club of Lucea, Angela Haye expressed her elation at the success of the event and offered special thanks to Rotary Club of Montego Bay, Rotary Club of Montego Bay East, Rotary Club of Negril, Rotary Club of Savanna-la-Mar, The Advancement Club, The Kiwanis Club of Lucea, Global Villa Guest House and all other guests and wellwishers who attended the function.
