An incomplete case file has caused a delay in the case against three St. James men accused of the murder of 31 year-old Andrew Cameron of Bogue Hill in the parish.
An incomplete case file has caused a delay in the case against three St. James men accused of the murder of 31 year-old Andrew Cameron of Bogue Hill in the parish.
Facing the murder charge is Robert Roseway, 26; Calvin Thompson, 34, and Machell Wilson, 28, all of Mount Carey in the parish.
When the matter came before the Montego Bay RM court on Thursday, February 4, the court was told that the. post mortem report and several statements were outstanding.
The men, who are out on bail, had their bail extended until April 15.
Reports are that on November 22, 2009 about 11 p.m., the deceased and his girlfriend were walking along the roadway in Cotton Tree Heights, Anchovy when three men allegedly approached them.
The men brandished firearms and held the two at gunpoint before taking them to an unfinished building in the area.
Cameron was taken away after which gunshots were heard coming from the direction in which they went.
The female managed to escape and raised an alarm and the police were summoned.
The body of Cameron was later found with multiple gunshot wounds.
